Responsibilities
Lead, establish and maintain focus on a shared vision of IT quality and processes aligned to industry best practices ensuring end to end QA delivery across the organization
Lead the establishment of consistent methodologies, processes, tools, infrastructure and metrics across the SLDC and institutionalize processes across the company, including all testing SLAs and KDIs
Lead and drive all Quality Testing areas including Functional, Nonfunctional, Automated, Performance, Volume and Stress Testing
Ensure proper alignment between the managed services vendor(s) and the overall organizational strategy and ensure smooth delivery of services to the organization. Responsible for assurance that vendor partner’s deadlines and service level agreements are met and that all billing information is accurate and timely
Oversee testing demand forecasting activities, ensuring quality testing and delivery for all covered Projects and Production support activities while reducing overall costs
Lead the establishment of performance measures, key operational metrics and reporting to enable data based decisions
Establish and continuously improve the Test Data Management process and capability to include: communicating and governing the process to ensure test environment and data are effectively coordinated, controlled and delivered
Qualification
Required
Ability to lead and manage a team, fostering collaboration and accountability
Proven experience in IT application delivery and software testing, including end-to-end delivery of web applications and claims systems (e.g., Facets)
Strong background in software testing for products and upgrades, ensuring minimal defects and timely resolution of production issues
Ability to reduce cost with use of automation and artificial intelligence
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale vendor relationships, including offshore/onshore teams and significant budgets
Bachelor's degree and 10 years technical consulting, solution design, account management or operations management experience
In lieu of degree, 12 years of experience as stated above
