Responsibilities
Managing teams on large mechanical projects
Overseeing projects from start to finish
Working with upper management and Senior PMs to ensure job safety and successful completion
Developing and building strong teams for each project while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and staying within budget
Driving division profitability through effective project execution
Evaluating and continually improving systems and processes used by the department to meet customer requirements and profitability goals
Reviewing overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific mechanical design methodology for individual projects as required
Ensuring schedule requirements are met for all projects, adjusting priorities and milestones based on changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements
Interacting with customers to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion
Managing the project review process with emphasis on financial forecasting
Ensuring high-quality engineering, studies, and project delivery
Qualification
Required
3+ years of mechanical project management experience
Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects
Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio
Exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills, both oral and written
Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
