The role involves consultative sales, relationship building, and talent advisory, where you'll own the full recruitment process from client acquisition to candidate placement.
Responsibilities
Business Development: Identifying and approaching potential clients (hiring managers at banks, law firms, and professional services firms), pitching your services, and winning exclusive recruitment mandates
Headhunting: Sourcing passive candidates through creative outreach, networking, LinkedIn, and good old-fashioned phone work
Candidate Management: Screening, interviewing, and qualifying top-tier professionals while becoming their trusted career advisor
Client Consultation: Understanding hiring needs, advising on market conditions, managing expectations, and delivering shortlists of qualified talent
Deal Closing: Negotiating offers, managing counteroffers, and ensuring successful placements from start to finish
Market Expertise: Developing deep knowledge of your specialist sector and becoming a go-to resource for industry insights
Qualification
Required
2+ years of successful experience in sales, business development, account management, or recruitment (client facing experience is a must and new business development is desirable)
Proven track record of hitting targets and performing in a competitive environment
Hunger and ambition, you want to build a career, not just have a job
Exceptional communication skills and natural confidence on the phone
