Compensation Analyst

Responsibilities

Support annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and incentive processes
Assist with bonus plan calculations and employee communications
Partner cross-functionally to ensure data integrity, system readiness, and smooth execution of compensation programs
Provide guidance to HR and business partners on compensation-related questions and scenarios
Maintain compensation data, job profiles, salary structures, and incentive plans within HRIS and related systems
Conduct job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and internal equity analyses
Perform FLSA assessments and support job leveling and grading decisions
Participate in annual salary structure reviews to ensure ongoing market competitiveness
Complete and analyze compensation surveys for salary planning and program design
Support ad hoc compensation studies and special projects as business needs evolve
Assist in evaluating and refining compensation programs to align with organizational strategy
Develop scenario modeling and cost analyses to support decision-making
Contribute to process improvements and documentation within the compensation function

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4–5 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis
Working knowledge of compensation philosophies, salary structures, and incentive programs
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)
Experience working within an HRIS environment (Workday preferred)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Preferred

Experience supporting equity or long-term incentive programs
Exposure to year-end compensation cycles (merit, bonus, planning)
Financial modeling or cost-benefit analysis related to compensation programs
Experience in a shared services or complex, multi-location environment
Tools such as Alteryx or similar analytics platforms
