Disneyland Resort is offering an internship opportunity within the Architecture & Facility Engineering Services Division. The role involves assisting project engineers in various phases of project work, including drafting, design coordination, and power system engineering.

Responsibilities
Assist project Engineers – Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical, in all phases of project work, from drafting, on-site as-built documentation, design coordination with outside design consultants, field data collection, light design / production work, construction administration, power system engineering / analysis and power distribution systems, commissioning and closeout documentation for a variety of projects ranging in scope from minor rehabs to building new facilities
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated/proven strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with demonstrated initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements
Experience with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to work under deadlines, on short notice and support extended/off-hours when needed to support project or resort engineering issues
Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Preferred
Prior related work experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on architecture, engineering, energy systems, energy engineering or construction
Experience working with AutoCAD, REVIT and/or BIM (Building Information Modeling) and/or power system engineering / analysis and power distribution systems
