Responsibilities
Experience with Matlab Model Based Development – Capable of designing moderately complex algorithms using model based design tools (I.e. Matlab/Simulink)
Understands the underlying principles, techniques, and procedures used in Matlab and Simulink
Creates appropriate design documentation for review
Experience with performance simulation – Use of mathematic models and computer aided engineering/scientific design tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Math CAD etc to simulate steady state, dynamic and transient operation of embedded controls
Experience performing product level testing
Candidate will create Matlab Simulink and Stateflow models to produce embedded software for generator set and automatic transfer switch controllers
We would like to find a candidate who understands principles of electrical systems in power generation industry, such as distributed/embedded power generation, conventional centralized power generation, islanded/standalone power system etc
