Senior LevelMSH is seeking an Assistant Controller (Sr Manager) to assist the Corporate Controller in directing the organization’s accounting functions. The role includes overseeing financial reporting, budgeting systems, and managing staff within various accounting functions.

Responsibilities
Assists the Corporate Controller in directing the organization’s accounting functions including cost, payables and reporting
Contributes to the development and maintenance of financial reporting, planning and budgeting systems
Oversees the preparation of periodic reporting and required legal filings
Ensures that all corporate and required accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the organization
Provides input to strategic decisions within the Corporate Controller function group
Coordinates with outside auditors to ensure quarterly review and annual audits are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Recruits, manages and develops staff within the Accounting/Reporting, Payroll, Risk and Tax functions
Qualification
Required
Accounting experience, specifically in a managerial or senior leadership position
Writing quarterly/annual reports to shareholders
Understanding of accounting principles, practices & procedures; experience with implementing within an organization
Ability to lead, develop and manage subordinates
MS Office 365 software experience
Reporting software experience
Experience leading Accounting/Reporting, Payroll, Risk Management and/or Tax functions
Cooperative experience
Preferred
