This role plays a critical part in sourcing materials, managing vendors, and ensuring parts are delivered on time to support operational success.
Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Collaborate with project management to ensure timely procurement of required parts
Source and evaluate quotes from multiple vendors to achieve best value
Create, manage, and track purchase orders within the YES PO system
Partner with production leadership to identify and close procurement gaps
Monitor part deliveries and provide weekly procurement status updates
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records
Participate in required safety programs and follow all safety policies
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced problem-solving and organizational abilities
Proficiency with PCs and standard business software
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer service
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
