Business Development Representative
Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair provider focused on reducing waste through repair rather than replacement. The Business Development Representative will plan their day by calling on properties in northern neighborhoods of Chicago to schedule jobs for technicians.

Responsibilities
Map your route, planning on :15 on-site visits throughout a variety of northern Chicago neighborhoods (e.g. River North, Wicker Park/Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Logan Square, etc) to schedule work for our technicians
Log notes/metrics in our software and coordinate with the Owner/Sales team
Light admin and prep from your home, before daily driving to visit properties in various neighborhoods each day
Weekly sales coaching, ongoing support, and regular reviews to track overall performance to sales goals
Qualification
Required
No prior industry or formal sales experience required
Coachable — Eager to learn, open to feedback, takes responsibility for results, and willing to run a proven sales playbook
Curious — Active listener who is comfortable asking questions and seeks to serve customers by first understanding them and their needs
Motivated — Independent and driven person who isn't satisfied settling and strives to build and maintain strong client relationships
Detail-Oriented — Executes daily habits (routing, documenting metrics, sending follow-ups) that turn activity into revenue
