This role is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, implementing FMIS functions, and preparing accurate financial information while providing oversight to assure accountability and responsiveness to state regulations.

Responsibilities
Managing and monitoring General Accounting, Grants and Local Health Accounting, and FMIS Coordination Divisions to ensure efficient operation and responsiveness to departmental needs and mandates
Ensuring implementation and support of FMIS functions
Preparation of accurate and timely financial information
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, accounting, finance or closely related field
Five years of experience in budgeting, accounting, auditing or financial analysis
A related master's degree from an accredited college or university or CPA will substitute for one year of general experience
Additional general experience as above can substitute year for year for the bachelor's degree
Preferred
Six to nine core accounting credits
Three to five years of supervisory experience within a budget or financial environment
