Responsibilities
Advising on complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, financings and refinancings, leasing, and joint ventures
Managing multiple workstreams independently while collaborating closely with colleagues
Structuring and negotiating commercial real estate transactions from inception through to closing and post-completion matters
Advising major institutional investors, developers, lenders, and corporate occupiers across a broad range of asset classes
Handling major leasing projects such as build-to-suit and headquarters leases connected with corporate relocations, expansions, and renewals
Managing complex joint ventures, capital-intensive development schemes, and sophisticated financing transactions across the U.S. and internationally
Qualification
Required
3–5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial real estate
Experience gained in a large or well-established law firm
Advising on complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, financings and refinancings, leasing, and joint ventures
Excellent organisational and project-management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently while collaborating closely with colleagues
Strong academic background
Confidence and capability to take on significant responsibility and meaningful client interaction
Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision
