Responsibilities
Counsel employers on employee relations and compliance issues
Advise on terminations, leaves of absence, and workplace policies
Draft and revise handbooks, employment agreements, and separation documents
Represent employers in state and federal employment litigation
Handle matters before agencies such as the Labor Commissioner and EEOC
Support clients during audits and employment-related disputes
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys, as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years of California employment law experience
Active California Bar license
Strong background in advice & counsel and litigation
Ability to manage matters independently
Excellent writing, analytical, and client-facing skills
Preferred
Small firm, boutique, or in-house employment law experience
Comfort working autonomously in a remote setting
