Responsibilities
Conduct commissioning of mechanical systems including chilled water plants, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers, pumps, air handlers, and airflow management solutions
Perform water treatment system balancing and chemical validation
Execute performance testing of precision cooling systems and their integration with the BMS/DCIM
Monitor and verify system pressures, temperatures, and flow rates against design parameters
Identify and troubleshoot issues with valves, controls, piping, and distribution networks
Complete all required mechanical commissioning documentation and reports
Work closely with controls engineers to fine-tune system setpoints and sequences of operation
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical trade experience (HVAC/R)
3+ years of hands-on mechanical commissioning or testing experience, preferably in data centers or large commercial HVAC
Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and HVAC principles
Experience with building management systems (BMS) and commissioning tools (flow meters, pressure gauges, thermal anemometers)
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety
