Advisor, Rotating Equipment Maintenance
Chevron is a leading energy company, and they are seeking an Advisor for Rotating Equipment Maintenance. This role involves leading reliability efforts for rotating equipment and mechanical systems while providing coaching and mentoring to less experienced groups.

Responsibilities
Rotating Equipment Advisor will act as a coach/mentor for less experienced groups (field-based)
Involvement in major compressor PM’s
Take the lead of initial campaigns for the PM schedule
Coach and mentor planning/scheduling to develop a self-sustaining process
Involvement in asset strategies tied to planning/scheduling
Provide guidance to COE
Attend relevant FATs and Dynos
Establish a baseline understanding of SAP
Data analysis for bad actors assessment related to Mechanical LPO/SAP coding
Weekly report that provides highlights
Attend mechanic team meetings (100% attendance)
Attend FRBs for relevant areas (minimum 75% attendance)
Attend OE meetings for relevant areas (100% attendance)
Be engaged in the day-to-day workflow of the mechanics to understand opportunities/barriers
Attend PSSRs from FE
Align with FE scheduling team & Commissioning/Wells team
Lead in assessments for Mechanics to determine current competency
Avoid having the same MMA access competency and train the same mechanic
Establish a curriculum with supervisors to drive uniformity in assessment
Responsible for DOA for Supervisors based on business need/availability
Attend meetings on behalf of Supervisors as needed, review monthly oil sample reports, and report irregularities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of oil & gas compression/mechanical-related experience
Experience in the application of rotating equipment preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance processes
Proven ability to analyze and diagnose performance deviations and recommend corrective actions
Must be able to read and interpret manuals and other technical materials
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Associates of Applied Science degree or higher, or Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in Compression, Industrial Maintenance Technology, or related mechanical technology discipline
5 years of current industrial mechanical experience, with emphasis on reciprocating engines, compressors, centrifugal compressors, turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, and generators

Able to work with limited supervision
Familiarity with reliability efforts for a variety of safety, environmental, and production-related issues
Ability to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of major oil and gas production and facility process systems
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), SAP S/4HANA, and an aptitude for learning new software applications
Ability to perform multiple tasks with limited supervision
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a diverse team
Caterpillar Engine certificate and/or training
Ariel Compressor certificate and/or training
