Responsibilities
Act as a senior strategic counterpart to the Founder
Provide experienced, calm leadership in investor-facing contexts
Serve as a credibility anchor with investors, advisors, and partners
Constructively challenge assumptions and surface risks early
Translate the Sure Jake vision into a clear, persuasive narrative
Ensure the story is: understandable in under 5 minutes, defensible under scrutiny, emotionally compelling without hype
Position Sure Jake as a category leader, not a feature product
Clearly articulate: the market gap, why it exists now, why Sure Jake wins
Ensure monetisation mechanics are: explicit, believable, visible within the product story
Continuously pressure-test the 'why this works' argument
Shape investor-facing language, tone, and positioning
Help communicate confidence, inevitability, and discipline
Support the Founder in handling objections and investor psychology
Reinforce that Sure Jake is execution-led, not speculative
Define and reinforce: why Sure Jake must exist, why the market is structurally ready, why late entry is costly
Position the opportunity as: time-sensitive, scarce, asymmetric in upside
Review and refine: pitch deck, data room materials, narrative flow across assets
Identify gaps, weak transitions, over- or under-claims
Guide improvements in: clarity, sequencing, persuasion, professionalism
Act as a strategic sounding board during pre-funding execution
Proactively suggest narrative, positioning, and structural improvements
Ensure Sure Jake is always presented at its strongest
Qualification
Required
Has operated at senior or C-suite level
Understands investor dynamics deeply
Can balance realism with ambition
Wants to help build something meaningful at the foundation level

Previous experience within social media/entertainment/ecommerce
