Responsibilities
Process payroll transactions accurately and on schedule using payroll software
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data integrity
Verify timekeeping information and address any discrepancies promptly
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and garnishments
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Coordinate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues
Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end tax filings
Manage garnishments and benefits deductions effectively
Review payroll systems and recommend improvements where needed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with full-cycle payroll
Proficiency in ADP Payroll or similar payroll systems
Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
Ability to handle garnishments and benefits deductions
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management
Effective communication skills for resolving employee payroll inquiries
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Familiarity with preparing payroll reports and tax filings
