Responsibilities
Use blueprints, drawings, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing files to program CNC machines
Operate CNC machines to produce precision metal or plastic parts
Set up different types of equipment controlled by computers to accomplish goals with accuracy
Operate conventional milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and band saws as required to manufacture new products and/or repair or rework parts in accordance with engineering instructions and drawings
Qualification
Required
Ability to use blueprints, drawings, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing files
Experience programming using computer software such as Mastercam CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, and/or Fusion 360
Ability to operate CNC machines to produce precision metal or plastic parts
Ability to set up different types of equipment that are controlled by computers
Ability to maintain high level of production rates
Experience operating conventional milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and band saws
Detail oriented
Ability to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
Ability to address and build appropriate solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capable of easily explaining sophisticated issues and procedures to others
Excellent computer skills using MS Office or similar programs
Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays
Committed and reliable (reports for scheduled shifts)
