Responsibilities

Work closely with technicians and engineers on facility-related projects, maintenance, shutdowns, and emergencies

Assist the facilities team with following equipment maintenance procedures and service contracts in a high-tech environment

Determine space planning of equipment with necessary utilities and supporting infrastructure

Support the development and enforcement of operational procedures for laboratory safety and hazards

Support equipment installation by translating technical documentation and working with vendors to provide site-ready infrastructure

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

3 years of experience in managing an industry lab (e.g., semiconductor fabrication or hardware research facility)

3 years of experience with safety regulations and protocols in a research or lab environment

3 years of experience with maintenance of lab facilities including vacuum, or electrical test systems, liquid nitrogen, or other hazards/chemicals

3 years of experience overseeing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing construction in a research and development setting

Preferred

Knowledge of debugging skills

Familiar with using industry standard simulations and debug tools
