Responsibilities
Serve as the SME for PCBA, SMT & electronic assembly processes
Lead & mentor engineering teams to drive efficiency, yield & quality
Manage complex projects to analyze, develop & optimize manufacturing processes
Apply Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing to reduce cost and improve performance
Design & execute DOE experiments to optimize critical process parameters
Optimize facility layouts & assembly flow for scalable production
Validate tooling, materials & methods for new and existing products
Lead DFM & NPI efforts, ensuring smooth transitions from prototype → production
Conduct post-NPI lessons learned and drive corrective actions
Partner with Quality & Manufacturing to perform RCA & corrective actions
Act as the technical interface for customers on process-related topics
Drive new process development and scale improvements into production
Ensure compliance with QMS & regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field
7+ years in electronics manufacturing or process engineering
Deep expertise in PCBA, SMT & electronic assembly
Proven ability to lead teams & manage complex technical projects
Strong communicator with high attention to detail
Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable in cross-functional environments
Preferred
PCBA failure analysis (cross-section, dye-and-pry)
Lead-free materials & soldering technologies
HDI, micro-via & advanced PCB technologies
Manual & robotic soldering (including BGA rework)
Tooling & fixture design
Epoxy & corner-bonding applications
Manual & automated conformal coating processes
