Responsibilities
Service, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems, with a focus on ammonia (NH₃)
Inspect, test, and repair system components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and valves
Perform system diagnostics, identify performance issues, and ensure compliance with PSM and IIAR standards
Record findings, maintenance activity, and service reports through digital platforms
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality service
Participate in system startups, retrofits, and upgrades as needed
Adhere to strict safety protocols when handling pressurized and hazardous refrigerants
Qualification
Required
EPA 608 Certification required
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ammonia and industrial refrigeration systems
Solid understanding of PSM/RMP and IIAR safety codes and best practices
Experience with screw and reciprocating compressors
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred
Associate degree in Refrigeration, HVAC/R, or related field preferred
RETA CIRO or CARO certification (or willingness to obtain) strongly preferred
Ammonia operator training or OEM factory training highly desirable
