Responsibilities

Conduct white-box testing for automotive Electronic/Electrical (EE) hardware components
Perform validation and debugging on advanced automotive ECUs such as High-Performance Computers (HPC) and Zonal Controllers, including work with peripheral SOCs/MCUs
Interpret and analyze complex electronic circuits, schematics, and board layouts
Use electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
Debug embedded code to support white-box hardware testing activities
Utilize VT Studio and CANoe for network simulation, diagnostics, and automation
Perform register-level diagnostics using semiconductor datasheets for SOCs/MCUs
Work with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) platforms like dSPACE and ETAS
Design, implement, and troubleshoot HIL wiring harnesses, load boxes, and test benches
Analyze test data statistically to derive pass/fail criteria and validate performance KPIs
Work with automotive communication and diagnostics protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, etc.)
Test and validate wireless automotive technologies: NFC, UWB, Wi-Fi, etc
Support bootloader and AUTOSAR MCAL activities during board bring-up and SOC validation
Use Git, JIRA, and work within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Apply DFSS methodologies (DFSS certification preferred)

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university
Minimum 6 years of experience in Automotive EE Hardware Testing
Strong understanding of embedded electronics, SOC architecture, and automotive networking
Solid hands-on experience with HIL validation, ECU testing, and electronic lab tools
