Responsibilities
Develop test criteria and test steps to ensure software is functioning properly
Develop automated tests using SmartBear TestComplete
Coordinate with developers to report bugs and provide feedback
Execute regression tests regularly and report issues promptly
Investigate test failures and document clear steps to reproduce them
Provide feedback on user interface design
Participate in Scrum events, including sprint planning, sprint reviews/demonstrations, and daily stand-ups
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science with two (2) years of relevant experience; Six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle)
Must possess an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required
Two (2) years' of software testing, quality assurance, or related experience
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar)
Basic experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)
Ability to think critically and logically to identify test scenarios and edge cases
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including bug reporting and documentation
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred
Experience with automated testing tools such as SmartBear TestComplete, Selenium, or similar
Experience creating manual test cases and executing test plans
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
