Responsibilities
Provide product security expertise across all phases of the SDLC for software and firmware products
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) security activities, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and final security reviews
Audit security-related deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Partner with development teams to assess residual risk and define appropriate security controls
Coach and mentor engineering teams on secure development practices
Help define and standardise security requirements across product and service offerings
Lead and coordinate cross-functional incident response activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or equivalent
1–3 years of experience in software development or assurance testing, with at least 1 year focused on secure systems
Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices (threat modeling, security reviews, penetration testing, incident response)
Knowledge of security-by-design principles and architecture-level security concepts
Up-to-date awareness of current and emerging security threats
Preferred
Security certifications such as CSSLP or CISSP
Experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies
Familiarity with Agile development environments
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
