Administrative Coordinator/Employee Assistance Program
Sparks Group has partnered with a local transportation company to recruit an EAP Administrative Coordinator. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees seeking mental health, substance abuse, and general wellness support, requiring strong administrative skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.

Responsibilities
Handle 20–40 “surveillance calls” daily between 8:00 AM–9:00 AM and determine whether employees need appointments, referrals, or resources
Research and maintain lists of community resources, including food banks, utility assistance, and Medicaid-specific mental health services; proactively expand options based on call trends
Identify and contact community organizations to secure guest speakers for weekly internal meetings
Greet walk-in clients and manage check-ins for drug testing, counseling, and related services
Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system
Maintain and update schedules in the electronic health record system (training provided)
Perform general clerical duties using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Support the team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of administrative or secretarial experience (comfortable with front-desk duties)
Strong understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA-related practices; must manage sensitive information with discretion
Exceptional reliability and punctuality
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to quickly learn proprietary EHR systems
