Responsibilities
Design and implement responsive, accessible user interfaces using React, ensuring optimal performance across devices and browsers
Build interactive components with React or HTMX for dynamic server-driven interactions and progressive enhancement
Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring seamless data flow and user interactions
Optimize application performance, including code splitting, lazy loading, and efficient state management to deliver fast-loading experiences
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices, design patterns, and established coding standards
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, knowledge sharing, and adherence to team standards
Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues, utilizing browser developer tools and AI-assisted debugging techniques
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in frontend development
Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity, validate generated code, and accelerate development cycles
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a proven track record of shipping production-quality code
Immense hands-on experience with React and HTMX
Proficient with modern AI coding tools and use them strategically to enhance productivity while maintaining high standards for code quality and security
Crafting performant, accessible user experiences
Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Curious, adaptable, and excited about staying at the forefront of frontend innovation while maintaining strong fundamentals in core web technologies
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in team environments
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex requirements into manageable, testable solutions
Attention to detail and commitment to code quality and user experience excellence
Self-motivated with an intrinsic drive to learn and adapt to emerging technologies
Proactive in identifying and addressing technical debt and suggesting architectural improvements
Strong time management and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional work experience in DevOps, security, and cloud infrastructure – We use GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS CDK extensively
Advanced proficiency in React.js, including hooks, context API, state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar), and modern React patterns
Strong expertise in HTMX, including dynamic content loading, form handling, and server-driven UI interactions
Mastery of core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Proficiency with TypeScript for type-safe, maintainable code
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and AI-assisted development workflows (mandatory)
Deep understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development
Solid knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git, with collaborative workflows
Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Cypress)
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including profiling, code splitting, and caching strategies
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and ability to implement accessible components
Preferred
Python proficiency for backend integration, data processing, or DevOps scripting
Experience with Next.js or other React meta-frameworks
Familiarity with CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components, Emotion, etc.)
Experience with GraphQL client libraries and schema-driven development
Knowledge of Web Components and micro-frontend architectures
Contribution to open-source projects related to frontend development
Experience with web performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, etc.)
Exposure to design systems and component library development
