Responsibilities

Helping collect, sort, and organize cost data for active projects
Assisting with routine tasks related to cost monitoring, cost control standards, and reporting
Gathering estimate inputs and preparing portions of project budgets, with guidance
Applying unit rates to quantities to help calculate total cost estimates
Conducting basic quantity takeoffs from engineering or construction drawings
Compiling and verifying quantity data for comparisons, reconciliations, or estimates
Assisting in preparing and presenting cost and schedule reports for team meetings
Supporting the development of project schedules, including defining activities and estimating durations
Collecting workforce and quantity data to support progress tracking and performance reporting
Identifying relevant information from various disciplines to support cost and schedule updates
Reporting schedule variances or changes within assigned tasks

Required

Recently completed Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, or Information Analytics
Strong academic performance and relevant coursework
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and leadership—whether through academics, sports, clubs, volunteer work, or part‑time roles
A growth mindset and interest in developing expertise in cost estimating, scheduling, analytics, and project reporting

Preferred

Previous internship or co‑op experience in engineering, construction, or project management is an asset (not required)
Basic understanding of engineering drawings, project management principles, or construction processes is helpful
