Uvation is seeking a skilled Accountant & Bookkeeper to manage the company’s day-to-day financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities
Manage and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, bank accounts, and credit card transactions
Post and review general ledger entries; ensure accuracy of financial data
Maintain accounting records in line with U.S. GAAP and company policies
Lead transition to NetSuite, including data migration and COA design
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support tax filings and liaise with CPAs, auditors, and consultants
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Track cash flow, burn rate, and report KPIs to management
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Establish consistent practices for multi-entity and global operations
Maintain clean audit trails for internal and external audits
Collaborate with CFO, founders, and cross-border accounting teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools

Preferred

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in work
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity
Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
