Responsibilities

Lead the technical development of innovative inventory planning and logistics processes
Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors
Support with supply demand, inventory management and pricing analysis for various commodities
Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization
Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts
Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods
Administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives
Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills
Expert ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data
Expert ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
Expert knowledge of supply chain management
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong analytical skills

Preferred

Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
Expert knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing
Datacenter experience
Supply Chain experience (Engg. background would be nice to have easy to connect and understand the process and technology within Meta)
