GTM Specialist
Whale is a global enterprise AI company transforming operations for leading consumer businesses. They are hiring a part-time GTM Specialist to build and execute US-specific marketing strategies that clearly convey value to US buyers, collaborating closely with the marketing and sales teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with HQ Marketing + US Sales to translate product capabilities into US-ready messaging and “what it does / why it matters” narratives
Create and maintain core collateral: Sales decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, case studies (as available) Blog posts, LinkedIn posts, email campaign copy Website copy improvements (US positioning, clearer CTA, ROI framing) Develop clear verticalized positioning (e.g., retail, QSR, automotive/luxury retail) and buyer-specific messaging (Ops, Marketing, Loss Prevention, IT, Finance)
Plan and run weekly outbound marketing campaigns (content themes, assets, distribution plan)
Create a lightweight content calendar aligned to Sales priorities, events, and product launches
Collaborate with Sales on account-based marketing (ABM): Customized account one-pagers and “why Whale for you” slides Industry snapshots and relevant use-case framing Event + meeting follow-up sequences and nurture content
Coordinate US events end-to-end with Sales and HQ: Booth/event logistics, timelines, vendor coordination (as needed) Event messaging, demo narratives, signage/handouts, swag coordination Pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up content Maintain an event plan + checklist to keep timelines tight and execution consistent
Work with HQ Marketing to improve SEO performance: Identify priority keywords by vertical and use case Propose content briefs, landing pages, and on-page updates Improve conversion paths (clear demos/POC CTAs, proof points, ROI framing) Track basic web metrics (traffic, conversions, top pages) and recommend improvements
Set up simple reporting on: Content output (weekly), campaign activity, engagement Website performance (where possible) Leads influenced / demo requests supported (in coordination with Sales) Keep assets organized (Drive/Notion), versioned, and easy for Sales to use
Qualification
Required
4–8+ years in B2B GTM marketing, product marketing, or growth marketing (SaaS or tech preferred; AI/analytics a plus)
Strong writing skills (clear, concise, buyer-friendly); can simplify technical features into business value
Hands-on collateral builder: decks, one-pagers, landing page copy, email + LinkedIn content
Experience partnering with Sales (ABM, field marketing, campaign alignment)
Comfortable coordinating across time zones and stakeholders (US + HQ)
Basic SEO understanding and ability to collaborate on keyword/content strategy
Preferred
Google Workspace, Notion/Confluence, Canva/Figma, HubSpot/Marketo (or similar), Web analytics (GA4), SEO tools (Ahrefs/SEMrush), LinkedIn scheduling tools
