Responsibilities
Provide leadership for hospital-wide Quality Improvement and Risk Management programs
Develop, implement, and monitor quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes and compliance performance
Oversee patient safety programs including risk identification, mitigation strategies, and event reporting workflows
Drive process improvements aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards
Lead preparation for surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections
Monitor quality indicators and performance dashboards; prepare leadership reports and action plans
Collaborate with nursing leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen safety culture and reduce risks
Support investigations, root cause analyses (RCA), and corrective action planning related to clinical events
Qualification
Required
Active West Virginia RN License (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required)
Previous Quality experience (required)
5+ years as an RN in Acute Care (required)
Strong clinical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to lead quality initiatives across departments
Preferred
CPHRM certification (ideal; will be required within 2 years of employment)
CPPS certification (ideal; will be required within 2 years of employment)
