Responsibilities
Maintain the operational integrity, security, and efficiency of the data center environment
Work independently in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting
Troubleshoot data center operations issues
Manage cooling systems, UPS, and HVAC
Install, configure, and troubleshoot server and storage hardware
Utilize SiteScan and other data center operations tools
Implement power and cooling systems, hot/cold aisle containment, and redundancy planning
Qualification
Required
5+ years in data center operations or a related technical field
In-depth knowledge of SiteScan and other datacenter operations tools
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure
Hands-on experience with server and store hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of power and cooling systems, hot/cold aisle containment, and redundancy planning
Familiarity with network protocols and hardware (switches, routers)
Proficiency with monitoring and management tools for data center operations
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working independently and in a team
Availability for on-call and occasional weekend work
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+ or equivalent
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
Knowledge of data center best practices and industry standards (TIA-942, ASHRAE)
Experience in retail IT environments
