Responsibilities
Support the design, assembly, and testing of electrical stimulation and sensing hardware for BCI systems
Assist in developing and iterating on sensor and circuit prototypes under guidance from Scientific/Engineering Leads
Perform bench testing, debugging, and characterization of electronic systems and components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (neuroscience, nanotechnology, materials, software) to evaluate experimental results and refine designs
Help maintain lab equipment, test setups, and electrical documentation
Support data collection, organization, and integrity for hardware experiments
Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and internal design records
Assist with regulatory-adjacent documentation and experimental traceability as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Strong foundational knowledge of electrical circuits, electronics, and instrumentation
Hands-on experience through coursework, research labs, internships, or early industry roles
Familiarity with prototyping, debugging, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators)
Interest in biomedical devices, neurotechnology, or brain-computer interfaces (direct BCI experience not required)
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with experimental hardware
Ability to learn quickly, follow protocols, and take feedback from senior team members
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment
0–2 years of relevant industry, research, or post-graduate experience
Preferred
Exposure to photonics, magnetics, sensors, or signal acquisition is a plus
