Responsibilities
Develop batch processes using ISA-88 standards and support automation in life sciences manufacturing environments
Create system architecture, hardware specs, and control strategies to optimize production efficiency and reliability
Build and configure HMI, historian, and controller applications while ensuring compliance with GAMP 5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11
Lead FAT/SAT testing, on-site commissioning, and troubleshooting of deployed automation systems
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, validated solutions on time and within budget
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field, equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in automation and control system engineering
Proficient in ISA-88 Batch Processing and DeltaV Batch configuration, with strong knowledge of process control strategies and loop tuning
Experienced with industrial automation protocols including HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, and OPC
Skilled in troubleshooting complex automation issues, electrical design principles, and industrial networking between controllers, servers, and HMIs
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
Preferred
Familiarity with the full project lifecycle-including system design, programming, testing, commissioning, and validation
