Kelly Services is hiring a Document Quality Control Specialist to join a leading medical device manufacturer in Grimes, IA. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, compliance, and accuracy of documentation related to surgical tools and equipment sterilization records.

Responsibilities

Review, inspect, and verify product and sterilization records for accuracy and compliance
Confirm proper sealing, equipment settings, and documentation according to quality standards
Provide coaching and feedback to assembly teams to correct records and prevent future errors
Communicate effectively with site leaders and cross-functional departments
Initiate and review nonconformance reports; support continuous improvement
Utilize Excel for record tracking and visual organization (e.g., color-coded cell updates)
Send professional emails to report findings or corrections
Maintain compliance with company Quality Policy, Mission Statement, and ISO standards

Qualification

Quality control experienceMicrosoft ExcelCommunication skillsAttention to detailProfessionalism

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year experience in a quality or inspection-related role
Comfortable with computers and proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to work independently
