The HTM Imaging Specialist-2 is responsible for the repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of imaging equipment, ensuring safe patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensures proper maintenance of all imaging equipment, including warranty, leased, and loaner equipment
Diagnoses problems, repairs to circuit board level, and re-calibrates equipment
Tracks, schedules, and completes preventive maintenance checks by due dates
Maintains ongoing active communications with clinicians regarding equipment status
Coordinates outside repairs with radiology equipment manufacturers
Assists in or performs incident investigations
Ensures equipment is properly tested before being returned to service

Qualification

Diagnostic imaging repairBiomedical TechnologyHardware/software proficiencyFollow through skillsCommunicationOrganizational skillsDetail-oriented

Required

4 years of experience in diagnostic imaging equipment repair
Associate of Science or equivalent in Biomedical Technology or related field
Proficient in various hardware/software applications and equipment database programs
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be detailed oriented and have excellent follow through skills

Preferred

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
