Reviewing and assigning bed placements for patients requiring admission to units within an acute care ministry
Performing chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria
Collaborating with nursing, EVS, transportation, and others to define, reduce and eliminate barriers within the system which may impede patient flow
Qualification
Required
Primary responsibility of reviewing and assigning bed placements for patients requiring admission to units within an acute care ministry
Chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria will be performed to assure appropriate bed placement
Collaborates with nursing, EVS, transportation, and others to define, reduce and eliminate barriers within the system which may impede patient flow
Preferred
College education in medical office, medical information or related medical business field
2 years experience in hospital or medical business office functions
2 years experience use Microsoft applications; Outlook, Teams and Excel
2 years experience using web-based software
2 years Customer Service experience
