Responsibilities
Oversee the development, refinement, and lifecycle management of detections, analytics, response playbooks, and automation content across security platforms
Lead SOAR automation engineering with Splunk SOAR, custom tools, and scripts to improve response efficiency
Manage the review of existing use cases, detections, and automations; identify gaps and drive new content development
Apply AI/ML and advanced analytics to enhance detection logic and support automated Attack Surface Exposure Detection
Ensure content aligns with cloud architectures and technologies across AWS, Entra ID, Microsoft security platforms, and hybrid environments
Collaborate with engineering, IR, architecture, and threat intelligence teams to convert threat insights into actionable content
Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and direction to content developers
Support large, complex enterprise environments with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and operational rigor
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise-scale security operations, engineering, or detection/response functions
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience leading technical teams
Minimum of 5 years of experience in REST API integration
Preferred
Deep understanding of threat detection engineering, cloud security, identity security, and automation
Experience with AI/ML concepts that support threat identification or security
Technical proficiency in the following: Python, KQL, scripting, and automation frameworks
SOAR development (Splunk SOAR strongly preferred)
AWS security services and Microsoft Entra/Defender/Sentinel
