Valley Streets Maintenance Supervisor
NEOGOV is seeking a Valley Streets Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of roadways and street infrastructure in Juneau. The role involves managing a team, planning projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and supervise road maintenance activities, including snow removal, grading, pothole repairs, and storm drainage cleaning
Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and daily project planners; ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available
Supervise and evaluate team members, providing performance reviews, and training
Investigate safety incidents and enforce safety compliance for direct reports
Perform additional tasks as needed and act as the Streets Maintenance Superintendent in their absence
Qualification
Required
Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience as a heavy equipment operator that includes at least two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience in construction or maintenance
A valid Class “A” State of Alaska Commercial Driver's License valid for vehicles equipped with air brakes and a Tanker (N) endorsement at time of application and for continued employment
Certification as a Traffic Control Supervisor with Flagger Instructor Training within 18 months of appointment for continued employment
Certification as an ATSSA Flagger (or equivalent) within 6 months of appointment and for continued employment
Attendance at and certification (as available) in CPR, First Aid, and Confined Space Entrant and/or attendant within 18 months of appointment
