Business Unit Controller
MKS Inc. is seeking an exceptional candidate to join their senior leadership team as Business Unit Controller for their Lasers business unit. This high-profile role will partner closely with executives to drive strategic financial and business initiatives, managing all aspects of financial close and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities
Drive growth and improve profitability of the Business Unit in close collaboration with the General Manager
Lead all forecasting and analysis activities, including: Annual Plan of Record, Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews, Strategic Planning process
Optimize finance processes and structure using the ESSA framework (Eliminate, Simplify, Standardize, Automate)
Develop, analyze, and interpret financial data to evaluate operating results against budget and profitability metrics
Provide analytical insights, assess risks, and guide senior leadership in strategic decision-making
Contribute creative insights to key business processes, including Product Line Profitability, Low Margin Reviews, Large Customer Deal Reviews, cost management
Support the Product Management team to make business decisions related to Product Life Cycle
Lead and develop a high-performing global finance team across the U.S., Europe, and Asia
Collaborate with Corporate Finance on various projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
8+ years of progressive finance experience
Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment
Demonstrated success in a collaborative, matrixed organization with measurable business impact
Lead a Finance team across several countries
Experience with SAP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence and drive strategic decisions
Proactive and results-driven mindset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
MBA preferred
Experience in photonics or semiconductor industries
