Responsibilities
Ensure all employees understand and adhere to the Agency’s Mission Statement and Objectives
Stay up to date on early childhood education trends, including trauma-informed education
Develop program improvement recommendations for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
Work with Assistant Directors to manage appropriate staff scheduling
Operate effective tuition policies
Supervise and provide leadership to direct reports and programs, leading monthly ECS staff meetings with the leadership team
Manage budgeting, licensing, and grant writing and/or reporting requirements
Ensure management of record maintenance for staff and students, meeting licensing and funding requirements, social service consultants, up to date parent handbook and policies
Maintain and implement staff professional development plans including Qualified Staff Member (QSM) Plans
Collaborate with parents, educators, community partners, and colleagues in other departments for the well-being of children
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
Candidates must be OEC Head Teacher Certified and be eligible for a Director's Credential
Preferred
Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field
Previous childcare leadership experience strongly preferred
