Responsibilities
Prepares construction drawings and sketches
Interfaces in planning construction methods and procedures
Initiates requisitions for field purchases
Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment
Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required
Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely
Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities
Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development
Reviews and approves inspection test plans
Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals
Qualification
Required
US citizenship; successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship to obtain badge access to the site
Candidate must complete security questionnaire and successfully clear site access requirements check
All employees are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment
Must be able to obtain a security clearance, as applicable
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
Develops firm understanding of startup turnover systems and drawings / records required for SVM / VMA closure
Acts as the single point of contact for Construction for System Verification
Coordinates with Construction, Startup, Completions and Design Engineering to complete verification write-ups and ensure all system components are accounted for
Prepares verification discussions for each startup turnover system and inputs to SVM / VMA database
Tracks closure of Construction items that are incomplete but required for verification completion
Reports daily progress on verification completions to supervision
Proactively considers continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activities
Develops understanding of Industry / International Codes & Standards applicable to work scope
Utilizes and leverages applicable automation software and processes
