Responsibilities
Handle complex insurance defense matters involving commercial litigation and catastrophic bodily injury claims
Analyze and manage first-party and third-party insurance coverage issues
Draft coverage opinions and position statements
Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Take and defend depositions and attend court conferences, as needed
Conduct legal research and draft motions and other substantive legal memoranda
Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop litigation and coverage strategies
Qualification
Required
4+ years of relevant experience in commercial litigation, insurance coverage, or catastrophic bodily injury claims
Active and in good standing with the Texas Bar (required)
Preferred
Experience with insurance defense claims and litigation is a plus
Exposure to depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and coverage analysis is a plus, but not required
