Responsibilities
Contribute to design, development, analysis, and troubleshooting during research and product development
Investigate and recommend technological options to improve systems, processes, facilities, or programs in terms of safety, efficiency, performance, or cost
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and assessments involving cost, risk, and supportability
Collaborate with a small team on a challenging, real-world medical device engineering project
Build technical skills through engineering talks, trainings, and guest sessions
Attend career development workshops
Receive mentorship from both a manager and a technical engineer
Form connections with peers who share a passion for improving patient outcomes
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or higher in engineering or a related field
Accepted fields include: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Manufacturing, Materials, Packaging, Biomedical, Chemical, Safety, Supply Chain, Bioengineering, Industrial, Petroleum, Aerospace, Construction Management, and Industrial & Systems Engineering
Must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
Open to current high school seniors graduating in Spring 2026 or first-year college students pursuing science/engineering degrees
Expected college graduation date must be Spring 2029 or Spring 2030
Must be 18+ by the start of the internship
