Service First Staffing is offering a position for a CNC Set-Up Operator/Programmer, where each day brings new opportunities for growth. The role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling equipment to produce parts and components, while also collaborating with engineering on fixture design and implementing continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

The machine setup operator/programmer will setup, program, and, if needed, run CNC milling equipment to produce parts and components
Setup and program CNC mills; Mazak VTC, Mazak HMC, WIA (Mazatrol and G-Code)
Work with Engineering on fixture design and implementation
Carry out machine operation, production, inspection, and packaging duties as needed
Identify and implement continuous improvements of processes and machine/setup times
Read and fill out necessary paperwork, quality documents, travelers, and time sheets
Assist engineering and quality technicians and obtain information as necessary
Maintain a safe and clean work space

Required

High School Diploma
Has to have experience setting up CNC machines as well as 5 axis experience
Experience in CNC mill programming and setups, 5+ years
Expert GD&T and blueprint reading skills
Experience with the use of basic machine measurement tools to verify setups; micrometers, snap gages, bore gages
Good math skills
Requires mechanical aptitude, conceptual skills, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift
Committed to quality, safety and communication
Team-oriented, self-directed, and attention to detail

Mazatrol experience preferred
