Responsibilities

Assisting with the training of non-human primates on cognitive tasks in virtual reality
Supporting large-scale electrophysiology experiments and collecting behavioral and neural data
Contributing to data organization and analysis
General lab support, including assistance with animal care and daily lab operations
Performs other related duties

Qualification

Non-human primates experienceSystems neuroscience interestMATLABPythonC#Bash scriptingOrganizational skillsInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

Associates Degree in science (or related field) or HS/GED
2+ years of related experience, Two years in research environment
A strong interest in systems neuroscience and a passion for understanding the brain
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Preferred

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Neuroscience, Biology, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience working with non-human primates is strongly preferred
Proficiency in coding (MATLAB, Python, C#, and/or bash scripting) is a major plus
