Senior Technical Content Lead
RapidFort builds hardened, production-ready container images and automation that help enterprises and U.S. government agencies reduce software supply chain risk and deploy secure workloads faster. They are seeking a Senior Technical Content Lead with deep, hands-on experience in container security, Kubernetes, and software supply chain security to serve as both a technical authority and a credible industry voice.
Responsibilities
Author deeply technical, high-impact content, including:
Blogs and long-form technical articles
White papers and solution briefs
Technical explainers and reference guides
Define RapidFort’s point of view on:
Software supply chain risk
Container and Kubernetes security
CVE remediation vs. scan-only approaches
SBOM / RBOM and dependency risk
Runtime hardening and attack surface reduction
Translate complex security and infrastructure concepts into clear, opinionated, and technically credible narratives for expert audiences
Own content strategy for container security and software supply chain security
Support product launches, GTM initiatives, and competitive positioning
Develop cornerstone technical content reused across:
Website and documentation
Sales and Solutions Engineering enablement
Analyst and investor materials
Field marketing and executive presentations
Partner closely with engineering, security research, and product leadership
Act as a bridge between deeply technical internal teams and external audiences
Interview subject-matter experts and turn raw technical insight into authoritative content
Analyze threat reports, ecosystem shifts, and competitor positioning (e.g., scanners vs. remediation-first platforms)
Produce content that clearly differentiates RapidFort in a crowded cloud-native security market
Contribute to:
Analyst briefings
Webinars and conference talks
Executive-level technical presentations
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity content, technical marketing, security research, or developer-focused technical writing
Direct experience working with cybersecurity products, not just writing about them
Strong, demonstrable expertise in Kubernetes and container security
Deep understanding of: Container images, registries, and runtimes (Docker, Kubernetes, OCI), Vulnerability management, CVEs, and remediation workflows, Image hardening and attack surface reduction, SBOMs, dependency risk, and software supply chain threats, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Proven ability to produce authoritative, technically rigorous content for expert audiences (security engineers, platform teams, CISOs)
Must provide a portfolio or sample work demonstrating prior content in the cybersecurity domain, ideally focused on container security, Kubernetes, or software supply chain security
Preferred
Hands-on background as a: Security Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, Platform Engineer
Experience supporting enterprise and/or federal customers
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks: FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST, SOC 2
Active or previously held U.S. security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a strong advantage
Experience speaking at conferences, webinars, or contributing to industry publications
Background in competitive analysis or analyst-relations content
