Auto Futures Innovation Project Manager

Responsibilities

Work with Auto Futures VP and program managers to execute strategic projects to accelerate progress, secure market access, enhance business cases, or deliver other strategic goals
Analyze market research and models to identify potential business opportunities and develop business case and investment theses
Develop and maintain models for key technology trend (e.g. electrification, automation, connectivity) adoption in automotive and other mobility application
Lead the planning, preparation, and coordination of project and customer meetings and events
Launch and lead innovation projects to develop prototypes, gather market and customer feedback, and assess value propositions
Engage S&T, Corporate, and other Corning business leaders to secure resources and access to technologies and other assets in support of emerging or existing innovation programs

Required

Minimum 5 years prior work in techno-commercial functions including business analysis, business development, commercial technology, innovation program management, engineering, development, etc
Bachelor's Degree in technical field
Strong communication skills to coordinate and reach alignment across functional boundaries
Demonstrated learning agility with the ability to rapidly acquire and apply new knowledge
Experience leading cross functional teams to deliver insights that improve decision making
Ability to operate effectively in environment with significant complexity and ambiguity

Preferred

Master's Degree, MBA and/or PHD
10 years prior work in techno-commercial functions including business analysis, business development, commercial technology, innovation program management, engineering, development, etc
Strong analytical skills and synthesis capability
Participation in, or management of, multicultural and/or multi-geographic projects
Experience across the innovation cycle (i.e., early and late stage)
Ability to navigate across Corning's management network
