The Operational Technology Engineering Intern will assist with the design, analysis, and testing of electrical protection, control, SCADA, and communication systems, gaining hands-on experience in real-world infrastructure projects while supporting engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities
Assisting with the design, analysis, and testing of electrical protection, control, SCADA, and communication systems for transmission and distribution projects, under the guidance of experienced engineers
Gaining hands-on experience on real-world infrastructure projects, including exposure to industry standards, power system components, and protection & control practices
Supporting engineering deliverables using AutoCAD, CAD tools, and Microsoft Office, while applying analytical and problem-solving skills to technical challenges
Working as a team-oriented contributor, participating in collaboration, communication, and field visits, with a willingness to go onsite and engage in practical learning opportunities
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a degree seeking program
Academic status of Sophomore or above
Program of study: Electrical Engineering
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Authorized to work in the United States
Ability to commit to a full-time schedule during May 18, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Preferred
Familiarity with electrical systems and industry standards
Interest in power systems, protection & control
Experience with AutoCAD / CAD tools
Team-oriented, strong communication skills
Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
