Start in 2026 SummerForvis Mazars US is a public accounting firm seeking interns for the summer of 2026. Interns will gain valuable experience in audit or tax, working on client engagements and learning from senior staff while developing their skills.

Responsibilities
Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
Calculate tax extension or estimate payments
Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
Qualification
Required
Solid technical accounting knowledge
Effective time management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills preferred, including Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
Problem-solving attitude
Willingness to take initiative
Close attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
Intern candidates must be working toward an accounting degree and CPA licensure eligibility
Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
