Paralegal- Victim Assistance
The Tulalip Tribes is seeking a Paralegal for their Office of Civil Legal Aid. The TOCLA Victim Assistance Paralegal will assist and relieve the Victim Assistance Attorney of administrative and legal-oriented clerical functions, providing extensive administration and legal assistance to the attorneys and related staff.

Responsibilities
Assist and relieve the Victim Assistance Attorney of administrative and legal-oriented, clerical functions
Provide extensive administration and legal assistance to the Victim Assistance attorneys and any related staff in the Tulalip Office of Civil Legal Aid
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Associates Degree in Legal Studies, or current work towards a completed Paralegal Certificate
Four (4) years of experience working in customer service
Four (4) years of secretarial or clerical experience in an office environment
Four (4) years of experience dealing with confidential matters and documentation
WA State Driver's License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
WA State commissioned Notary Public. Will allow six (6) months to obtain
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check
Preferred
Experience working with diverse cultures, specifically Native Americans
Experience working with underprivileged populations
